Casper Hosts Statewide Early Childhood Conference Focused on Wyoming’s Future
Some of the most important work shaping Wyoming’s future begins long before children enter a traditional classroom. From infant and toddler care to preschool programs and school-age learning, early childhood professionals help create the environments where children develop essential skills, build relationships, and prepare for future learning. This week, Casper will welcome professionals from across Wyoming for a conference focused on strengthening that work through collaboration, professional development, and shared ideas.
The 2026 Wyoming Early Childhood Collaborative Conference is scheduled for Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, at the Best Western Downtown Casper Hotel. Organized by Align and the Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS), the event is designed to bring together people working across the early childhood system and create opportunities to learn from one another.
The conference requires registration and paid admission, so attendees should check the official event registration page for ticket availability, pricing, and registration requirements before making plans to attend. With two days of professional learning and networking scheduled, registering in advance can help participants prepare for the event.
The conference reaches beyond the traditional image of a preschool teacher. Its audience includes professionals working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, along with childcare program directors, administrators, adult educators, trainers, and other leaders who help shape early learning environments. By bringing these different roles together, the conference recognizes that supporting children requires cooperation across the many settings in which they receive care, guidance, and education.
