What if, for one Saturday, Downtown Casper became a little less ordinary?
On September 5, 2026, witches, wizards and Muggles are invited to step into a world of magic during Back to Hogwarts, a downtown adventure that turns local businesses into stops along a day of wizarding exploration.
From 10 AM to 5 PM, participants can make their way through Downtown Casper with a special passport in hand, visiting participating businesses and discovering what kind of magic is waiting at each stop.
The adventure begins at one of two starting points. Passports will be available at Bookin' It, serving as Diagon Alley, or The Dreadful Bookshop, transformed into Knockturn Alley. Once you've picked yours up, the downtown adventure is ready to begin.
The passport gives participants a reason to explore. Each participating business will have something different waiting for visitors, from activities and treats to special offerings created specifically for the celebration. At each stop, participants can collect a stamp and continue building their passport as they make their way around downtown.
And there's a little bit of friendly competition built into the journey.
Those who complete their passports will be entered for a chance to win the Grand Wizard Prize. So the more of downtown you explore, the closer you get to completing your magical mission.
Of course, you don't have to be a devoted Harry Potter fan to join in.
