On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, Casper will host an important gathering of people working to strengthen cancer-related efforts across Wyoming.
The Wyoming Cancer Council Annual Meeting will bring together representatives from healthcare organizations, foundations and state programs for a day focused on the future of cancer planning in the state.
The meeting will take place at 1017 S. Conwell St. in Casper and will center on updates to Wyoming's new cancer plan.
While cancer care touches communities differently across the state, the meeting creates an opportunity for organizations working in different areas to come together, share information and look at where their efforts can have the greatest impact.
Among the organizations represented at the meeting are the Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care, Wyoming State Oncology Society, Banner Health, the Olivia Caldwell Foundation and the Wyoming Tobacco Prevention Program.
Bringing those perspectives together is an important part of statewide planning.
