Celebrate Wyoming’s rich history and the spirit of the American West through a lively musical presentation honoring America’s 250th anniversary. Featuring “Buffalo Bill” and Dr. Jo (“Flower of the Prairie”), this engaging concert brings Wyoming and Western heritage to life through music, storytelling, and historical imagery.
Audiences will journey through the stories that helped shape the region, with songs about cowboys, the Oregon Trail, the Transcontinental Railroad, and the Lewis and Clark expedition. The program also features traditional Native American Indian Sign Language stories, cowboy poetry, and world-class yodeling, accompanied by a multimedia presentation of historical paintings and photographs.
Award-winning performers Buffalo Bill and Dr. Jo bring their musical talents to the stage with fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, and superb harmony vocals. Winners of a Western Music Association Harmony Duo Award, the pair combines music and storytelling to celebrate Wyoming’s history, enduring traditions, and distinctive Western culture.
